I got interrested in Ubuntu so i installed it on a computer recently and it is
really nice and fast.
Good work!

Seems it currently lacks a bit on the server side and some other minor upstream
stuff but that
will be sorted out soon enough.

Whats also lacking upstream is smb network browsings...
Even though hosts can be queried for samba shares the samba hostnames never
show up in nautilus.

A quick "get subnet address for NicX", if its a local net then scan it with
TCP/IP port 139 or so and run
"nmblookup -A" on the ip's within this subnet.
If its an smb host on the host then show the hosts name in nautilus...

Like so:
nmblookup -A 192.168.1.2
Looking up status of 192.168.1.2
SambaServer42 <00> - B <ACTIVE>

Not many bytes will be sent on the networks as opposed to the microsoft
constant network broadcasting congestions. Its faster then the current
thing that doesnt find any smb hosts anyhow.
