We can not update to latest version in intrepid. It has been done in
jaunty.

For fixing the problems in currently released Ubuntu version we have to
follow 'Stable Release Updates' policy.

I have already tried the change you specified. I get a window telling me
about absence of some file. Irrespective of the button I click (Yes/No),
the program crashes again with segmentation fault. So I thought you had
better solution. I will try to investigate this over weekend.
