styyle14, when the xserver starts next time it moves the previous Xorg.0.log file to Xorg.0.log.old. Therefore, next time you log in after a crash, grab that file. Could you also include the output of `lspci -vvnn`? You write: "it would not load the gdm and after I logged in it would crash and take me back to the login screen".
