The version of linux-modules from intrepid-proposed seems to have resolved the issue for me (no issues after a day of use) and has not caused any further regressions. Turns out this bug also caused most of my other problems, such as with sleep and hibernate, and it being fixed has greatly improved performance.
I recommend releasing this soon since the issue affects a lot of users and is something of a black eye for Intrepid Ibex. The number of people I have noticed on Ubuntu Forums, for instance, with frequent kernel panics and enormous logs is mind boggling, and I have traced a few of them back to having iwlagn cards. -- kernel 2.6.27-7-generic bug BUG: scheduling while atomic: swapper/0/0x00000100 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286285 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
