Yes, i still have the summer time because ml only takes the time at boot
but it never refresh it during execution, perhaps if ocaml can take the
time from ¿libc? it can refresh it during execution. You can try the bug
by changing your local timezone and check the ml info.

I have the Jason solution aplied in /etc/default/mldonkey-server the
config of mldonkey initscript, solve this inside mldonkey as you say is
the best and that's why i said to apply the edits in the package until
the bug is solved in a best way. Anyway in gentoo this bug is not
present, i think because the locale system setting is inicializated also
for the initscripts and not only for the login sessions, this can be the
best solution because if there are other programs that rely on the
locale at start also when the're daemonized. The debian developers say
that this bug should be solved by the mldonkey project because it should
not use the locale for the rename of the downloads.
