I have upgraded 8.04 to 8.10beta last week and since then I have the boot problem. I have had one or two occasions where I did not have to use the keys to continue boot. But I can not find any consistency in when.
I have a HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop and I use a logitec cordless usb mouse a dual monitor setup (most of the times) and a wired network (my wireless network got also broken but that is a different thing) I have also tried without the external monitor and network cable and usb mouse and again, almost always do I have the boot problem. To answer Saïvann, I tried the noalpic boot option and for me it did not work, I still have to press a key to continue the boot process. -- System freezes during boot, unless I hold a key down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272247 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
