Further to previous comment, I had this bug (see my comment above, 28 Aug) before I added a video card, with just the onboard graphics (not sure if local session with connected display worked at that time, but remote sessions were buggy). So I doubt it has anything to do with NVIDIA as such, but rather with Java in remote sessions.
