Mpcd, that work around works but causes another issue. If I add that to my xorg.conf, and then boot without a joystick attached, the mouse stops working correctly. This is fine for my desktop because I don't mind keeping the joystick attached, but this is not okay for my laptop which I don't attach the joystick unless needed.
Even though there are probably work arounds, all joysticks need to work properly out of the box just as they used to. This is a HUGE problem because I'm sure there are a lot of people that play games on Ubuntu. mpcd wrote: > I discovered a temporary fix for the mouse cursor issue.
