Yes, your "good" one is the -03-pre1.fw version. Boettcher's web page is broken it seems, I can not find a list of all available versions and their order. However, 1.10 (5878ebfc...) is a newer version than 03.pre1 (0b39b8cc...), and supposed to be "better": http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2007-September/020358.html
