The md5sum (..ff25) is the good one, which I am using.

Sorry, can't remember where I found it from, it was several months ago.
I later discovered that linux-restricted-modules was replacing my
firmware with one which does not work, hence opening a bug...

Looking at my files again, it seems I may have downloaded the firmware
as dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw and renamed it.

I just found this now,

to what looks like the same firmware that works for me.

Maybe there is a problem with identifying the USB device, or a bad re-
use of firmware file naming.
