The md5sum (..ff25) is the good one, which I am using. Sorry, can't remember where I found it from, it was several months ago. I later discovered that linux-restricted-modules was replacing my firmware with one which does not work, hence opening a bug...
Looking at my files again, it seems I may have downloaded the firmware as dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw and renamed it. I just found this now, http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Hauppauge_Nova-T_Stick which gives a link to what looks like the same firmware that works for me. http://www.wi-bw.tfh-wildau.de/~pboettch/home/linux-dvb-firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-03-pre1.fw Maybe there is a problem with identifying the USB device, or a bad re- use of firmware file naming. -- dvb-usb-dib0700 for nova-T usb https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279848 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
