Ah, now I see this in your earlier reports. You need to install
libxine-extracodecs with the version 1.1.2-0ubuntu2. You currently seem
to have the version 1.1.1+ubuntu1-1 installed, which doesn't work with
xine 1.1.2.
I think the issue has been identified, and the we can set this bug to
status rejected
