in the BUG-REPORT.TXT I miss the file /usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.1.2/xineplug_decode_ff.so. This file is shipped in the xine-extracodecs package. Without this, you don't have the ffmpeg plugin installed and won't be able to listen to many files with popular codecs like mp3.
