I definitely support this idea (to get IceCat available in gNewSense this way).
This would make the font rendering better for many pages and allows people to get a more advanced AdBlock Plus than Epiphany with Epiphany Extensions (which does not allow custom lists and does not block text ads). Spell checking and all would be available again by just typing "sudo aptitude install icecat".
