Mark, I think reading these comments should make it quite clear.... We hate EULAs more than we like the Firefox brand. We'd all be happy to have Firefox in restricted, and even make it easy to install - but an alternative HAS to be the default. All this is of course assuming your charm can't sway those guys around to our side. :-)
It's too big a precedent. This is one of those little things that really do matter - a 'character' moment if you will. As for the alternatives, if you think the IceWeasel name is inappropriate, let's go talk to Debian about changing it.
