Sorry, maybe I wasn't expressing myself very well. When I said it won't work without a working configuration in ~/.mozilla, what I means was that on a fresh install, with no existing ~/.mozilla directory, Firefox breaks when your home dir is on an NFS mount. I didn't mean to say I had a broken ~/.mozilla directory (such as caused by a "cold shutdown") and was trying to blame that on NFS. ;)
For my comment about a working NFS dir being created, what I meant there was that I ran Firefox on a non-NFS home directory to get it to properly create ~/.mozilla, then copied that configuration dir to my NFS home, and that it still broke extensions and other pieces of functionality after that. -- firefox-3.0 breaks with NFS home directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
