I downloaded and tested the Alpha5 of Intrepid Ibex 8.10. The results are better, and the sine wave effect seems to have diminished, and though the transmission may oscillate, it isn't regular. I was also able to upload a couple 12 MB files, where as before I would keep getting disconnected at about 1 - 3 MB of a 6 MB file.
I think this can be considered resolved with the 2.6.27 kernel, at least for me. I did have another issue where my keyboard quit working in Intrepid Ibex 8.10 but I'll see about filing another bug report for that issue. -- e1000e shipped with Hardy caused sine wave pattern https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231183 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
