Okay. New bug during the boot cycle and i'm really beginning to think i shouldn't run Dapper at all. Dist-upgraded to all the new packages using the original dapper release cd and then upgraded via synaptic for all latest packages. Upon reboot i get the Ubuntu loading screen that informs me the essential file system (i think) loaded okay and then the system hangs, nothing more seems to be happening. If i hold down the option key at boot it appears i have two installs to choose from: one gives the aforementioned hang, the other error messages. Can anyone help?
