For this you have to specify ubuntu that you want to start this application automatically when the computer is booted.
To make this automatically go to *System=>Preferences=>Startup applications*. Then click *Add*. In the *Name *field write the name (i.e. iBus) and in the *Command *field write *ibus-daemon* . Then click *Add *and then *Close. *Now it should start automatically every time the PC is booted. 2010/2/5 Maya Max <maya2...@gmail.com> > sorry for late reply. > I bus takes 3 to 4 steps to start every time. why don't it start > automatically when I start my computer? > > On 31/01/2010, সাজেদুর রহিম জোয়ারদার <tosha...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Dear Maya > > > > Your ibus is already been installed and running. to use it's preferences > for > > typing bengali just go to System>>Administration>>Language then select > the > > input method to ibus. after that go to System>>Preferences>>Keyboard then > go > > to the Layout tab and add a keyboard with Bengali (bd) language support > then > > in the layout option set how the system changes between the layouts in > the > > typing. > > > > Thanks > > > > রিং > > +8801671411437 > > -- > > Ubuntu Bangladesh | http://ubuntu-bd.org > > ubuntu-bd@lists.ubuntu.com > > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd > > -- > Ubuntu Bangladesh | http://ubuntu-bd.org > ubuntu-bd@lists.ubuntu.com > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd > -- Ubuntu Bangladesh | http://ubuntu-bd.org ubuntu-bd@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd
