Hi guys,
I prefer version 1 for two reasons:
* While version two attempts to change the first sentence so it is more
readable, it falls into the trap of twice stating that we are "a group of
volunteers".
* I prefer the phrase "...*allowing Australians the freedom of choice*"
over "allowing people". I encourage us to wave the Aussie flag whenever
appropriate to do so, and this is definitely one of those.
Along with the great work that the Australian translation team are doing,
seeing Australians taking ownership of the Ubuntu and Loco efforts on their
behalf will help to make Ubuntu more appealing to the Aussie public. ;-)

Good evening,
Following some good constructive feedback I've attempted to reword the
draft of the mission statement slightly to make it read better. If you
can please check it out [0] and let me know if it's heading in the
right direction that would be great. If anyone else has any sort of
feedback or want to rewrite it again please feel free to do so on the
wiki page just make sure you make clear who has written what so it's
easy to follow.
