Requirements: - Our target audience are (1) PhD students whose research topics are related to Reinforcement Learning, plus (2) researchers and engineers in both academia and industry. - The participants should be familiar with basic RL concepts or have a solid background in mathematics. Core topics of the summer school include: - MDPs and Dynamic Programming - Temporal Difference Methods - Policy Gradient - Contextual Bandits - Stochastic Bandits - Exploration in RL (optimism) - Concentration Inequalities - Monte-Carlo Tree Search Other topics include: Representation Learning and RL, Hierarchical RL, Neuroscience and more.
