The project is part of the MSCA European Doctoral Network LEMUR (LEarning with 
MUltiple Representations)

During the project, you will:

  *   conduct research on neural symbolic AI and neural probabilistic logic;
  *   use neural symbolic techniques to provide insights on the role and the 
interaction of multiple representations;
  *   develop scalable neural symbolic frameworks for learning with multiple 
representations.





Offer

Full-time temporary employment. The gross salary is the sum of Living Allowance 
EUR 3400, the Mobility Allowance EUR 600, and the Family Allowance EUR 660 (if 
applicable) as specified by the MSCA DN grant. The salary is subject to 
taxation and social contributions.

The EU Researcher Allowances will be used to cover both the employee's as the 
employer's mandatory charges.





Profile

The ideal candidate has a master degree in Computer Science or Artificial 
Intelligence.  Experience concerning the topics of the project or the expertise 
of the Machine Learning group is a plus.

Candidates must have excellent programming skills, be proficient in oral and 
written English, possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking skills, 
and be team-oriented, proactive and result driven.

To be eligible, the applicant must satisfy the mobility requirements of Marie 
Skłodowska-Curie actions. At the time of recruitment, the potential candidate

  *   must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, 
etc.) in Belgium for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the 
recruitment date. Compulsory national service, short stays such as holidays, 
and time spent as part of a procedure for obtaining refugee status under the 
Geneva Convention are not taken into account.
  *   be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of 
their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree.
