Hi All,

My lab has a funded temp research position available starting *immediately* until end of May 2023 to work on projects in Machine Learning for Health.  This would be a good opportunity for candidates who have a strong publication record and have recently obtained an advanced degree in CS, ML or related fields.  Remote work from within the US is possible.  Please feel free to forward the following job posting to potential candidates.  Thanks.

Temp Research Position in Machine Learning for Health at MIT

The Institute for Medical Engineering & Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology has an immediate opening for a temporary Research Fellow position to join a project in machine learning for health. The project offers opportunities to develop machine learning methods to derive insights from longitudinal observational data from electronic health records for informed treatment decision making.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an outstanding capability for independent research and a solid publication record in machine learning conferences, or ML for health related conferences and journals.    Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following a plus: probabilistic modeling, variational inference,  and (deep) state space models. Prior experience in ML for Health preferred, but not required.  Responsibilities: research,  publishing in top tier conferences, and mentoring students. Remote work (from US) is possible. Candidates must have an advanced degree in a related field, including computer science, machine learning, or statistics.

Applicants should submit CV and links to relevant publications to Li-wei Lehman ASAP, lileh...@mit.edu
