Dear all,
We are looking for a doctoral researcher to join our new team at TU
Berlin, working on speech and audio technology in medicine.
We are focused on developing reliability-aware systems, using
mathematical tools such as hybrid, dynamic state-space models, causality
and information theory. With our work, we aim to combine the best of
both worlds: Using prior, structural knowledge to encode all natural
invariances and symmetries, while employing back-propagation and
probabilistic deep learning to achieve flexibility and learning at scale.
Our application areas center around speech recognition and hearing
technologies, multi-modal perception and AR/VR.
The position is fully funded for 5 years on the Berlin pay grade TV-L
E13. As undergrad teaching is required, excellent German language skills
will be needed from the start.
