Dear all,

This is a 14-month postdoc position on topics of machine learning and causal
inference, led by me and funded by the Office of Naval Research. For TL;DR
facts:

Deadline for application: 29 March 2022
Where: University College London, UK
Starting/ending data: 1st September 2022-31st October 2023
Further details can be found at https://tinyurl.com/2n3rp5h2

The reason for the relatively short position is that the current post holder
will leave at the end of August to start an assistant professorship in Computer
Science at King's College London. The successful candidate for this position
does not need to have expertise in causal inference, but they must show a
strong track record in research in machine learning/statistics.

UCL is located in the Bloomsbury region of central London, with many transport
links within walking distance (the Department of Statistical Science is just a
few minutes away from King's Cross, Euston and St Pancras Station). The post
holder is welcome to work from home for most of the time if desired, but they
must live in the UK around the starting date of the contract.

Several pre-prints are also available upon request. Please contact me directly
if you would like to ask further questions.

Best regards,

Ricardo Silva,
