The Visual & Data Intelligence Center (VDI) in the School of Information Science and Technology of ShanghaiTech University invites highly qualified candidates to fill multiple tenure-track/tenured faculty positions. We seek candidates with exceptional academic records or demonstrated strong potentials in *all research areas of artificial intelligence and data science*. We are especially interested in candidates from the following areas:
· Knowledge engineering, knowledge representation and reasoning · Natural language processing · Bayesian statistics and inverse problems · Quantum AI ShanghaiTech is founded as a world-class research university for training future generations of scientists, entrepreneurs, and technical leaders.
