IEEE OCEANS is a bi-annual event for global marine researchers, technologists, 
engineers, students, and policymakers. The researchers and industrial leaders 
gather for four days to highlight, discuss and exchange relevant topics and 
current trends in marine technologies. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) 
Madras and National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) are jointly organizing 
IEEE Oceans 2022 conference in Chennai, India Feb 21-24, 2022. 

All are invited to attend the conference physically. However, those who cannot 
attend can join online as a hybrid conference.

Please note that the full paper will not undergo review in IEEE Oceans 
conferences, the committee will only scrutinize and accept the abstract.  

IEEE Oceans encourages student activity to engage the upcoming ocean engineers 
and scientists. For this, there will be a student poster competition. About 20 
students whose abstracts are at the top, will be provided travel, 
accommodation, and registration for the conference. Among them, the top 3 will 
be evaluated and given cash prizes. More details will be made available on the 
website. 

Please inform your colleagues accordingly and request the students to 
participate.
