Dear colleague,
Due to several requests, we decided to extend the submission deadline of the
online conference “Space and AI” to August, 18th 2021 (Anywhere on Earth).
Considering that the planned program is already filled, we decided to also
increase the number of contributions. There are now at most 5 slots available
for contributions.
Details on the event and submission procedure can be found below or visiting:

Dear colleague,
It is our pleasure to invite your contributions to the
Online conference “Space and AI”, September 13th, 2021 (in association with
ECML PKDD 2021)
http://spaceandai.ijs.si
Following the success of the first edition of the event, the ESA-CLAIRE AI
Special Interest Group on Space (http://claire-ai.org/sig-space/) is organizing
its second online conference on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for
applications in space technology. The conference, organized in association with
ECML PKDD 2021 (http://spaceandai.ijs.si), will be a full-day event and will
take place on Monday, September 13th (a tutorial and workshop day for ECML PKDD
2021).
The program of the event will include several keynote talks. We are also
inviting contributed presentations on topics concerning different AI methods
(including, but not limited to, e.g., planning, machine learning) and different
areas of space technology (including, but not limited to, e.g., space
operations, earth observation). Presentations of original unpublished work or
of recently published work are both welcome: In the latter case, please include
a reference to the relevant publication.
We will have up to 15 slots for contributed presentations, so please send us
your contributions as soon as possible.
The contribution should contain the following information:
- the title of your talk
- names and affiliations of authors
- designated speaker
- description of the work (soft suggestion is to consider textual description
around 200 words, and hard constraint is up to 2 pages including all
information - text, figures and tables, if provided)
- the desired length of your presentation (10 or 20 minutes including Q&A)
The contribution should be submitted to
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=spaceai2021.
NEW Deadline: August, 18th 2021 (AoE)
Participation at the event will be free of charge. Prior registration will be
mandatory. Details on registration and the technical platform where the event
will take place will be available after the event's program/ schedule is finalized.
Best regards,
Saso, Dragi and Manuel
