We have an open PhD vacancy on "Multi-modal self-supervised deep learning
for self-driving vehicles" at the 3D Urban Understanding (3DUU) ai lab at
TU Delft!

Your objective will be to develop state-of-the-art deep-learning techniques
to create 3D environment representations for self-driving vehicles. To deal
with limited annotated data, we will exploit the complementary nature of
all vehicle sensor modalities through self-supervised multi-modal learning.
These modalities include vision, lidar but also audio or radar.

Have you (almost) completed your MSc thesis related to deep learning for
visual or other 3D perception tasks, and would you like to become an expert
on self-driving vehicles? Check out the vacancy below ;). The application
deadline is *August 20, 2021*.

As part of the Delft AI labs, this is a 5-year position where you will also
develop your educational skills, a key competency for a future academic
career. You will be part of the Intelligent Vehicles group (Cognitive
Robotics department, TU Delft), and supervised by Dr. Julian Kooij. Salary
and benefits are per the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities
(salary indication: € 2.395 - € 3.061).
