Statistics.
The professor will be based at the Division of Statistics and Machine
Learning, at the Department of Computer and Information Science.
The position will primarily be devoted to own research and supervision
of doctoral students. The holder of the professorship is expected to
lead the division's continued development in the area of statistics,
both in research and education. The holder of the professorship is
expected to work towards continued integration of statistics, machine
learning, and practical computational methods and problem solving in all
parts of the division's activities.
