Dear colleague, We are pleased to invite you to contribute a paper to our Special Issue "*Robots for Health and Elderly Care*" in /Robotics/(ISSN 2218-6581).
*Guest Editors*: Prof. Dr. Angel P. Del Pobil and Dr. Ester Martinez-Martin Special Issue Website: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/robotics/special_issues/Robots_Care *Deadline*: *31 March 2021* Recently, the population ageing phenomenon has led to an unceasing need for healthcare systems to assist the elderly's cognitive and physical health. In this context, robotics can play an important role with respect to healthcare support and independent life, especially when problems related to ageing appear. So, novel theoretical approaches or practical applications of all aspects involving elderly robotic assistance are welcomed. Reviews, datasets, benchmarks, and surveys of the state-of-the-art are also welcomed. Topics of interest to this Special Issue include, but are not limited to, the following topics: Therapy robots Rehabilitation robots Telehealth Healthcare robots Companion robots Activity planning robots Prof. Dr. Angel P. Del Pobil Dr. Ester Martinez-Martin Guest Editors If you decide to contribute to this Special Issue, please inform us. The Editorial Board of Robotics strives to ensure a rigorous and efficient peer-review process for all manuscripts, in order to ensure high-quality manuscripts are published in a timely manner (if accepted after the peer-review process). Robotics provides an advanced forum for studies related to all aspects of robotics. It is covered by leading indexing services, including the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI—Web of Science), Scopus(citescore 2.50), nspec (IET) and DBLP Computer Science Bibliography, and other databases. /Robotics/ is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of CHF 1000 currently applies to all accepted papers. In case of questions, please contact us at robot...@mdpi.com. For further details on the submission process, please see the Instructions for Authors at the journal website (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/robotics/instructions). We look forward to hearing from you.
