A position open in a research project at Cornell University, involving
data mining of large clinical registry to develop prognostic models
based on Bayesian networks.
There is some urgency to get started but work can be possibly performed
through telecommuting, with occasional teleconferencing with other
partners in the project, so the physical location of the candidate is
not important. In case of telecommuting, the project leader envisions a
consulting-type assignment with an hourly rate to be discussed based on
candidate's qualifications and experience.
Ideal qualifications of a successful candidate should include experience
with large clinical data sets, medical registries, Bayesian networks,
Bayesian network modeling and learning/causal discovery. Knowledge of
GeNIe (primary vehicle in the project) is a big plus.
Interested candidates should send their CV listing a summary of their
qualification to:
Dr. James Francis Antaki <ant...@cornell.edu>
I am posting this position as a courtesy to a colleague, so please do
not EMail me with inquiries but direct any questions directly to Dr. Antaki.
