IPTA'19 aims at bringing together international researchers, innovators, educators, and practitioners in image processing to share their achievements, exchange their experience and discuss future orientations. The conference provides an excellent forum to meet and discuss various important issues on image processing and applications. *****Important Dates**** Submission Deadline: *June 28, 2019* Notification of Acceptance: *August 20, 2019* Final Paper Submission: *September 15, 2019* Author Registration: *September 15, 2019* ****Topics**** The topics of interest for IPTA'19 include, but are not limited to - Image formation, scanning, display and printing - Image and video processing, coding and compression - Machine learning methods for image and video analysis - Pattern recognition and computer vision - Perceptual analysis of images and video - Image forensics and security - Applications of image and video analysis SPECIAL SESSIONS SS1: Deep learning for emotion and facial detection recognition SS2: Quality assessment for multimedia contents SS3: Machine learning and deep data analytics for medical applications Papers describing general surveys, image processing fundamental theory, specific medical imaging applications, advanced prototypes, tools and methodologies are welcomed. Extended papers describing original contributions are encouraged in the conference topics mentioned above.
