The Rutgers University – Newark Cognitive and Data Sciences Lab, led by Dr. Patrick Shafto is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow for a collaborative project with Drs. Elizabeth Bonawitz and Vanessa LoBue. The funded positions will include bridging cognitive development related affect and/or learning, data science methods, and state-of-the art machine learning. We are interested in candidates who have expertise in one or more of these areas, and interest in developing expertise in the others. Post-docs have the opportunity to lead research projects and are supported by ample resources including research space, computational resources, and administrative support. We are located in the heart of New Jersey’s largest city and are an easy, 25-minute train ride from downtown Manhattan.
