The successful candidate will have an established record of scholarship with demonstrated potential to influence the growth and development of computer science programs at the University at Albany.We are building a research-intensive College of Engineering and Applied Sciences in the tradition of the best high-caliber public programs in the country. The cornerstone of the college, the Department of Computer Science has been in existence since 1967, and provided a foundation for the establishment of our first engineering program, Computer Engineering, in 2016. Computer Science, together with Electrical and Computer Engineering, are just the beginning. Programs in several other engineering disciplines are in development; the College is in an exciting period of rapid growth.
