Our team members have PhDs in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, speech recognition, and data analytics from Stanford, CMU, Brown, MIT, Harvard, NUS, NTU, PKU etc. We are building a nimble, team-oriented, startup-like environment with the backing and resources of A*STAR, Singapore's national-level full-spectrum R&D organisation. We are looking for strong candidates in the field of deep learning, with an interest in working on both fundamental problems in deep learning algorithms and hardware, and also applying it to practical problems in vertical domains ranging from Autonomous Vehicles, IoT and medical imaging. What we work on:
1. The 10X problems in Deep Learning: We are looking at problems ranging from learning with 10x fewer labelled samples to building 1000x larger networks 2. Next generation hardware for Deep Learning: We are looking at going beyond FPGAs and GPUs, to building hardware that will enable billion-scale real-time inference 3. Next-generation enterprise applications for Deep learning: Beyond speech and image recognition, we are looking at applications ranging from finance to IoT, with leading government and industry partners.
