Job Description OccamzRazor is automating the search for a cure to Parkinson’s disease. You will be working as a Machine Learning Engineer in a team of highly talented engineers and researchers to expand the capabilities of our existing pipeline. Your role will be that of scientist, researcher and engineer. On a day-to-day basis, you will be: Collaborating with other researchers and engineers to come up with novel, effective and practical algorithms for information and feature extraction in non-standard settings. Exploring and evaluating new-to-market datasets and machine learning techniques (in particular specializing approaches for NLP to our particular set of problems). Producing high-quality research articles, and contributing to the research community. Liaising with the biomedical research team to both understand the key practical challenges, and fold abstract domain knowledge into the pipeline. This position presents a unique opportunity to help shape the technology and product of a dynamic, fast growing business. An ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in machine learning or high-performance computing, desire to have an industry wide impact and ability to work within a fast moving environment to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact. Desired Qualifications - Master’s or Ph.D. in Machine Learning or statistical Natural Language Processing (other relevant experience considered). - Comfortable working with at least one scripting language and one compiled language (e.g. Python and C++). - Experience implementing research papers using a modern deep learning framework. - A willingness to develop a mutually shared knowledge base, and collaborate with our biomedical research team. Preferred Qualifications - Strong publication track record. - Experience doing applied data science, or otherwise a general familiarity with the tips, tricks, and techniques for getting the most out of `real data’. - Experience deploying an NLP based system commercially. - Experience delivering a machine learning based software solution to market.
