Authors are invited to submit papers describing advances and applications in information fusion, with submission of non-traditional topics encouraged. Paper Submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers electronically through the conference website (http://www.fusion2009.org), where paper templates and submission instructions will be available in late 2008. Papers submissions are due by 2 March 2009 and cannot exceed 8 pages. Special Session Proposals. Proposers are invited to submit by email (lync...@npt.nuwc.navy.mil and chee.ch...@baesystems.com) the theme of the special session as well as a list of committed papers. Proposals for special sessions are due by 2 February 2009. Papers for special sessions must also be submitted for review on 2 March 2009. Tutorial Proposals. The first day of the conference will be devoted to tutorials on information fusion. Proposals for tutorials are invited. A title and description of the tutorial and biographical sketch of the instructor are due to Ivan Kadar (ika...@systemssciences.com) by 2 February 2009. Student Paper Program. Fusion 2009 is featuring a student paper program to encourage the involvement of young engineers and scientists in information fusion. Conference fees will be discounted for the lead (student) authors of the papers. Further details are available at the conference website.
