Postdoctoral researcher in graphical probabilistic models for reliability (M/F) - 2-year contract, renewable for another 2 years, 40 hours/week - Ref : F1-080012 We are looking for a highly motivated and creative postdoc willing to join our Interdisciplinary Lab for Intelligent and Adaptive Systems. We expect a solid theoretical background in uncertain reasoning, a strong theoretical research experience in graphical probabilistic models, a related innovative research program, and an interest in applying these techniques to analyze and ensure system reliability (e.g. via design, diagnosis, prediction, monitoring, or control based on graphical models). Knowledge about relational probabilistic models, relational machine learning, generalized belief propagation, Markov/probabilistic logic, or Bayesian statistics, would be an advantage. Profile: * PhD in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent; * A strong publication record in the area of interest; * Very good written and oral English skills, a working knowledge in German or French would be useful.
