Maybe make this #ifdef and put the fdt code first?
I see only one reason to do it (and that's why I have done it in intc code too)
which is debug purpose. Because you can simple comment ifdefs and hardcoded
values
below fdt code which you can debug.
#if defined(CONFIG_SYS_TIMER_0_ADDR) && defined(CONFIG_SYS_INTC_0_NUM)
preload = XILINX_CLOCK_FREQ / CONFIG_SYS_HZ;
irq = CONFIG_SYS_TIMER_0_IRQ;
tmr = (microblaze_timer_t *) (CONFIG_SYS_TIMER_0_ADDR);

Can remove =0 I think.
done.

+ offset = fdt_node_offset_by_compatible(gd->fdt_blob, offset,

+ irq = fdtdec_get_int(gd->fdt_blob, offset,
+ "interrupts", -1);
+ if (irq == -1)
+ panic("Connect IRQ to system timer\n");
That's a little cryptic - maybe should mention fdt?
What about this?
panic("Timer IRQ is not found in DTS/DTB\n");
I don't want to write there novels but this is also checked in different tool
which generates DTS that's why simple panic should be eliminated for most cases.
Thanks,
Michal
