I was just about to comment on that. :-) At a first glance it looks like you'll need either some custom read/write page, or complicated read_buf/write_buf -- but I'm not sure that all of the stuff being done in the syndrome functions is needed (or even that the syndrome functions are a good starting point), and this driver already has complicated read/write_buf that could probably be tweaked to work with this chip. > This is a straight port from KARO's linux driver > (not mainline) that I know works on mx25.
