So you'd prefer to go via kconfig rather than a board #define? The reason we need this is that U-Boot gets entered in HYP mode. This is not specific to the SoC, it's specific to the way it boots, so it belongs in the rpi2 configuration. The only other system I'm aware of that supposedly works like this is the Calxeda Midway.
