No. In general, there is no testing performed. Minor exceptions from this rule exist, for example the RAM auto-sizing code also performas a minimal non-destructive memory test, but this is not strong enough to be called serious testing. If you need real Power-On Self Tests (POST), then you must enable POST in your board configuration and configure it according to your needs. > 2. If above answer is yes, what method is used to do the test? If you need such tests, then use the code in post/, see doc/README.POST Best regards, Wolfgang Denk -- DENX Software Engineering GmbH, MD: Wolfgang Denk & Detlev Zundel HRB 165235 Munich, Office: Kirchenstr.5, D-82194 Groebenzell, Germany Phone: (+49)-8142-66989-10 Fax: (+49)-8142-66989-80 Email: w...@denx.de "In the face of entropy and nothingness, you kind of have to pretend it's not there if you want to keep writing good code." - Karl Lehenbauer _______________________________________________ U-Boot mailing list U-Boot@lists.denx.de http://lists.denx.de/mailman/listinfo/u-boot
