I agree but I've not the time to merge the new linux drivers in u-boot
and actually it's the only way to have the network in u-boot

I'll make an announce but as I already said before I'll not ack any new cpu or
update of the NPE anyway. So if someone wish to add the IXP465, 435 or other
we must use a new network driver no the current one

btw in the current IXP port we can have the firmware in flash and load from it
