Hier ist das was unter dem Punkt steht :
GDLib found

JPG supported (not used by TYPO3)
GIF / PNG issues
You can choose between generating GIF or PNG files, as your GDLib
supports both.
You should watch out for the generated size of the GIF-files because
some versions of the GD library do not compress them with LZW, but RLE
and ImageMagick is subsequently used to compress with LZW. But in the
case of ImageMagick failing this task (eg. not being compiled with LZW
which is the case with some versions) you'll end up with GIF-filesizes
all too big!
This install tool tests what kinds of GIF compression are available in
the ImageMagick installations by a physical test. You can also check
it manually by opening a TYPO3 generated gif-file with Photoshop and
save it in a new file. If the file sizes of the original and the new
file are almost the same, you're having LZW compression and everything
is fine.
TYPO3 prefers the use of GIF-files and most likely your visitors on
your website does too as not all browsers support PNG yet.

Hallo Kati
Das ist jetzt zwar vom Typo her als aktiviert gesetzt, jetzt ist nur
noch die Frage ob die GDLib auch
Installiert ist.
Ich glaube nicht ganz dass die Option die du im Install Tool auf gelb
hast dafür verantwortlich ist.
Schau dort mal unter dem Punkt "GDLib" ob du dort fehler hast.

Hab noch vergessen zu sagen dass im Install Tool Basic Configuration
FreeType quick-test (as GIF) Das gelbe Bild nicht angezeigt wird :-((

Bin mir jetzt nicht mehr so sicher, aber werden png nicht durch die
GD erzeugt? Hast du die aktiviert?

Die Grafiktests im install Tool gehen alle?
Hallo Kati,
ich hatte neulich etwas im Netz gefunden "link habe ich leider nicht
mehr", im FF wurden keine Thumbnails angezeigt, aber im IE waren rote
Kreuze vorhanden,
auf das rote Kreuz klicken "Rechte Mauste >> Eigenschaften
der Pfad führte ins dummy Verzeichnis
dafür scheint ein thumbs.php verantwortlich zu sein "wenn ich das so
richtig verstanden habe"
Jedenfalls wurde das dummy nochmals hoch geladen, dann war der Fehler
behoben.
Evtl liegt es daran?? :-)
