I started watching Colbert again Inauguration night, and again last night, hope to resume the regular habit. As the Reckoning, the Virus and Trumpism ramped up in late Spring, I found I could not yuck it up with Colbert anymore.
Where is he doing the show now, is that his Office at the Ed? I saw Brian Williams joke (though wouldn’t be surprised if many network anchors had their own version) Inauguration Day that usually we remark at the end of a presidency on how old and wrecked the outgoing President looked, as a marker of the toll the job takes, but this time around, Trump looks the same, and all the reporters who covered him look old and wrecked.
