While Colbert is advertised as a rerun tonight, it isn't really. He does a
monologue from home, with some virtual assistance from staff, since there are
the same level of stills and video clips you see in a regular show.
While a *much* more professional endeavor than last Thursday's taped rehearsal,
there are a few things that make me think Stephen won't do well during an
extended home stay.
The second segment is also new, another in the semi-regular annoying series
where one of his producers has his easily excitable mom interview people.
Colbert emphasizes that it was taped 8 days ago. And the doctor she talks to
was pretty good.
I have no idea how long this will continue.
