The thing the PAs always yell at audiences at the Ed is how much of the 
show the audience is, and a show like tonight's is proof of that. So much 
of that material just died without 400 saps cackling at it. If Colbert does 
tape next week, I think the show would be well-advised to move out of the 
Ed and into smaller venues: the offices upstairs, the dressing rooms, the 
greenroom, maybe even Angelo's next door or a a bar. There's no point in 
throwing stuff out into the void for no reason.
