Explodes out of the gate with excellent jokes and recorded material. Only stumble is awkward reaction shots from her DJ. Now here comes the tough part. The discussion of being a childless woman with Amber Ruffin seems to be more of an attempt to make a statement about what kind of show they intend to be than to entertain. The jokes aren't as sharp. But maybe that's just a middle-aged white man observation. The last Amazon bit fell flat. If she can keep it up, it looks like Netflix has a hit.
