Those who are my Facebook friends might also remember my fluffy puppy pal Nigel whom I pet-sat for over a year... he is there as well. So far, the worst their town (a town named Volcano, go figure) is facing is poor air quality (most of the island is perfectly safe, or at least no less safe than usual), but the risk of spontaneous explosions in the area as the lava shakes hands with the underground pockets of water has caused various closures of schools and parks.
