With the late night shows I think the issue is how much lead time they had when the news broke. The LS and Daily Show were already put together and scripted. Pulling out 30 seconds or one minute of monologue material at the last minute to say something about Louis was doable, making a major change was not. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
